Hillcrest Community Performing Arts Center at Hillcrest High School

Ammon, ID
As part of a community-focused addition to an existing high school, the 26,008 sq. ft., $7 million facility includes a proscenium theatre, fixed orchestra pit, music and drama rooms, scene shop, dressing room and production facilities. The 884-seat theatre is sized to accommodate high school and community needs, supporting performing arts programs including drama, music and dance for two high schools and multiple community groups. The facility houses full-fly, 27 counter-weighted line sets, 400 dimmers for stage lighting with a computerized lighting control system and actor cueing system and a 48-input audio console. The orchestra pit features a removable cover and acoustical treatments for musicians.

Spectrum provided electrical engineering and technology, lighting, control, rigging, masking, stage machinery, acoustical and electro-acoustical design.
