Marketing Manager

Spectrum Engineers is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented Marketing Manager who is passionate about brand building, strategic marketing, and supporting firm growth within the AEC industry. This role plays a key part in shaping how Spectrum is positioned in the marketplace—strengthening brand awareness, supporting client engagement, and delivering high-quality marketing and proposal materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage marketing strategy and initiatives that support firm growth, brand awareness, and market positioning.

  • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to translate business goals into effective marketing plans and campaigns.

  • Maintain and strengthen Spectrum’s brand across all platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to position Spectrum effectively.

  • Represent Spectrum Engineers at conferences, trade shows, and community events, identifying sponsorships and marketing opportunities that elevate brand visibility.

  • Oversee and support the RFP and proposal process, including content development, coordination, scheduling, and alignment with marketing strategy.

  • Track, monitor, and analyze marketing performance and pipeline activity using CRM and marketing analytics tools.

  • Manage marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content to ensure high quality and relevance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure every client-facing touchpoint reflects Spectrum’s commitment to service, professionalism, and innovation.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Cosential/Unanet preferred)

  • Experience with RFP and proposal coordination, particularly in the AEC industry

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and digital marketing campaigns

  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and storytelling skills

  • Project management experience from concept through execution

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred

  • 5–6 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry (or closely related professional services environment)


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Occasional extended hours or weekend work to meet deadlines or attend industry events
