Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Campus
This new pediatric healthcare campus is designed to expand access to world-class care for children and families across the Intermountain West. The development includes a five-story hospital and a three-story medical office building, linked by a central circulation spine to create a cohesive and welcoming environment. Together, these facilities provide over 400,000 square feet of space dedicated to inpatient and outpatient services, supported by a central utility plant. The hospital offers emergency care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and specialized treatment areas, with 54 inpatient beds at opening and a fifth floor dedicated to behavioral health. The medical office building houses 35 outpatient specialty clinics, education and conference spaces, and offices, ensuring comprehensive care and support for patients and families.
The hospital features a 19-bay emergency department with trauma services, neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, and five operating suites for acute medical and surgical care. Advanced imaging and pediatric subspecialty diagnostics are integrated throughout the facility. Behavioral health services include an inpatient unit and a walk-in crisis center, while outpatient programs provide rehabilitation, oncology and infusion therapy, and the Safe and Healthy Families program. The infusion center includes a rooftop patio designed for comfort and healing. The campus also incorporates family-friendly amenities and inclusive outdoor spaces, creating an environment that prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient well-being.
